Abstract

|
Adenoma malignum (minimal deviation adenocarcinoma) of the uterine cervix is a rare well-differentiated adenocarcinoma which has a deceptively benign histologic appearance. Because of its rarity and cytologic changes are subtle, diagnosis is often delayed and may be missed preoperatively and intraoperatively. The prognosis of adenoma malignum is controversial. We report a case of adenoma malignum of the uterine cervix with a brief review of the literature.
